Recently I contributed a guest blog post on Rachel Lynette’s incredible website Minds in Bloom. I wanted to discuss something that is important in my line of work: determining whether a student is learning English or has a speech problem. When I get a referral for a student that is simply learning English, I educate the teacher about what to look for in a bilingual student. I shared my best tips for teachers who are trying to figure out what is going on with their student. Click over and check it out: 5 Ways to Find Out If Your Bilingual Student Has a Speech Problem.
