Being a speech path, I’m tasked with finding out if a student, client, or patient is “within normal limits.” But after visiting with a physical therapist for a back problem, I have begun to question whether or not “within normal limits” is truly a goal. I believe that “within functional limits” is absolutely worthwhile and a truly terrific accomplishment for many clients. Watch the video and learn more about this important distinction.
