Getting students to use verbs, adjectives, and prepositions can be a challenge! But what if…we help students by showing them that there are many verbs and nouns that go together, to learn that adjectives describe, and to recognize prepositions —- all while making simple sentences! Let’s help kids learn these part of speech by showing them first the connection between nouns and verbs. Some verbs only go with some nouns, so it helps kids narrow down the possible options that go with certain verbs. Then adjectives are used for describing and finally the images required to understand prepositions.

There are 80+ pages in each of the verbs resources that cover 27 entry-level verbs for early elementary age level students. The adjectives resource is 70+ pages while the prepositions is more than 60 pages!! Click on the correct pictures and rights answers to advance to the next page of the PDF (that’s right, parts of the PDF are clickable!)
