5 Stuttering Therapy Techniques

Speech Therapy· Vlog

17 Mar

I wanted to share with you some of the stuttering therapy techniques that I use in my speech therapy sessions with students. I’m also pretty proud of how slow, calm and measured my speech is in this video and how I’m able to model that for my students who often will try to use tension to push through a stutter, instead of slowing down and easing into it.

Working with students who stutter is one of my favorite groups to work with. They are often super motivated and engaged during sessions!

I’m filming in the car because my kids aren’t on top of me and it’s quiet! This should be called my “car series” because it’s easy to prop up my camera at a good height. Please let me know in the comments if you have any additional questions for me. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe.
