Of course new clinicians benefit from this information, but older experts can get stuck in a rut. The handout will help you think about your sessions in a new way.
In particular, I think it’s important to make sure you think about the goal from start to finish. It should be the focus of the session. The video is only five minutes long, but I think it will lead to some light bulb moments.
How do I know so much about what constitutes a “successful” session? I’ve been observing clinicians in my work at TeleTeachers as a training coordinator and I’ve also been doing some clinical supervison at a local university. Both of these roles are part-time and vary quite a bit so I can really see a variety of clinicians at work. Watch the video NOW
