Freebie: Fridge-Worthy End-of-Year Notes & Reflections for Your Students

Products in Action

20 May

As the school year wraps up, emotions tend to run high—for us and for our students. There’s pride, excitement, maybe a few tears, and always a mile-long to-do list. I wanted to create something that helps you bring a meaningful (but low-stress!) close to the year.

Introducing my latest freebie:
Fridge-Worthy End-of-Year Notes & Reflections

It’s a simple printable PDF that includes:

Fill-in-the-blank or ready-to-go student notes

There are multiple versions you can use:

  • Notes for students you’re sad to see move on
  • Notes for students you’ll be working with again next year
  • Notes for students who’ve had a challenging year
  • Generic positive notes to celebrate growth and effort
  • You can handwrite them or copy/paste the pre-written messages onto the template. Either way, it makes for a heartfelt gesture that students (and families!) will appreciate—and maybe even hang on the fridge.

A reflection page for students

This part invites students to pause and think about their year. The prompts encourage them to reflect on what they learned, what they’re proud of, and what they’re looking forward to next. It’s great for classroom closure and helps build metacognition and self-esteem.

Fridge-themed design

The fridge design gives the printable a fun, keepsake vibe—making it something students will want to show off at home.

Whether you’re a classroom teacher, special education teacher, speech-language pathologist, PE or music teacher—or anyone else who works with students—this resource is flexible and easy to use.

It’s a small gesture that can leave a lasting impression. And best of all?
✨ It’s totally free.
